IN THE FLESH (review)

In The Flesh Mini-series
Mini-series
Release:          17th March 2013
Rating:             7
Genre:             horror-thriller-drama
Starring:          Emily Bevan, Harriet Cains, Steve Cooper
Runtime:         ~45min per episode
Plot:                 Four years after the rising, the government begins to rehabilitate the undead back to the society including teenager Kieran Walker, who returns home to his small Lancashire village to face hostile reception as well as his own demons.
My view:         The plot is totally relatable to everyone who’s had to struggle, in any way, to fit into a certain society. Though British (I have a thing against anything produced in Britain, #Sinbad), this   one is well set and the characters well played. It will leave you shaking at one moment, weeping at the next. It is definitely worth watching all 3 episodes. I was left rather confused about Kieran though, and his affection for his best friend. Really weird! That’s the major spoiler.
