Released
in 13th February 2013, the MacBook pro with Retina display is the latest
release in the MacBook Pro series. It gets its name from its amazing screen
clarity and resolution. It is manufactured in two models, the 13-inch and
15-inch. It runs in OS X mountain lion
operating system.
The
one and definitely most striking feature about these computers is clarity of
its screen. A 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display for instance has a
resolution of 2880-by-1800(221 pixels per inch); this is an equivalent of a 5
megapixel image, pretty awesome ey? A 13-inch MacBook has a resolution of
2560-by-1600 slightly lower than the latter. Another quite impressive feature of
these computers is their 0.71(18mm) thickness.
With
the MacBook comes with apps including iPhoto, iMovie, Garage band, Mac App
Store, Safari, Mail, etc.
The
MacBook with Retina Display comes with the very fresh flash storage technology,
comes with 768GB of memory. In Flash storage technology stuff is stored in
solid state; this makes it fast and energy efficient. Flash storage coupled
with Intel Dual core i5 and Quad Core i7 processors (fastest on earth) make for
an incredibly fast machine with speeds of 3.0GHz and 3.7GHz when turbo boosted.
With these speeds, the MacBook pro with Retina Display is ready for just
anything you might throw its way.
Battery
and power problems are just about solved by in particular edition, with the
efficient ‘Flash’ technology the MacBook pro with Retina Display comes with
lasting 7-hour charge battery that can last 30-days in stand-by time.
Another
very cool feature is the 720p FaceTime HD Camera, ultrafast wireless
technology. It comes with three USB thunderbolt ports, HDMI, SDXC card and
headphone ports.
To
get your hands on this magnificent machine in Kenya you’d have to part with a
coool Ksh. 250,000, yes a quarter of a million shillings!...Get saving people!
